For some, happiness is an aluminum-bodied Fender. Fender made the aluminum-bodied Harley Davidson Stratocaster in 1993 and later its metal brother, the Freddy Tavares Aloha Stratocaster. Both instruments featured engraved, chrome-plated aluminum bodies.

Aluminum body, hand engraved with a Hawaiian scene by master atisan Ron Chancey, contoured on back and lowerbass bout, and one-piece highly figured birds eye maple neck and fretboard with 22 frets and green pearl dot position markers and Aloha and palm tree pearl inlays by Larry Sifel. Small headstock with Fender logo inlaid in abalone and a cresting wave also inlaid in abalone above the logo. On the ball end of the headstock in a palm tree inlaid in white and green pearl and the signature of Freddy Tavares in black. Kluson Deluxe closed-back no-name tuners with oval metal buttons. On the back of the headstock is a decal withDE 4 / 037 of 153 / Custom Shop / USA in black. Four bolt neck plate engraved Custom Shop / USA.
