Just arrived: 1958 Gibson Les Paul Junior

One-owner example, 100% original. Not a screw has been changed, a guitar exactly as it left the factory in 1958. This has to be one of the last single cut Juniors before they changed body style in mid-'58.  These don’t come around often in this condition.

8 lbs. 7 oz. Great weight, these Junior's are better when their not featherweights.

The original alligator softshell case is gone. It has a new SKB hardshell. In VG condition with some player wear. Could benefit from a fretjob. Future owner's project. Fairly priced at 12,500.

The Gibson Les Paul Junior was originally introduced in 1954 as a simplified, affordable version of Gibson’s Standard Les Paul — built to be straightforward but still great-sounding. It featured a solid mahogany body and neck, a single P-90 dog-ear pickup, and minimal controls (one volume and one tone) for pure, punchy tone.
