This is a rare find out in the wild!

An extremely rare and unique piece of St Louis metro area history.

1960 Supro/Dwight Belmont guitar with original case.

This one is in VG+ condition with no finish delamination. Completely original with original case.

Sherry Maroon MOTS finish. This one's a stunner!

Plugged into a tube amplifier, the Vistatone pickup punches way above its weight class. It delivers a gritty, raw mid-range growl with plenty of bite—making it a supreme absolute favorite for vintage blues, early rock 'n' roll, and slide guitar.

The "Dwight" Belmont was commissioned by Charles "Dwight" Shields, owner of the Sonny Shields Music Studio in East St. Louis / Belleville, Illinois. Around 1960, Shields ordered an incredibly small batch—historically cited as only 18 units—of these Supro-built guitars to use for student lessons and retail in his shop. While Epiphone also famously built a "Dwight" version of their Coronet guitar, the Valco/Supro-built Dwight Belmont is drastically rarer.
