1961 Fender Super 2x10 amp with 6G4 circuit.
 
VG plus condition! This amp was owned by a musician who took meticulous care for the upkeep, service and maintenance on this amp including;
Bias caps and adjustable bias, one coupling cap, cathode bypass caps, all filter caps and grounded AC cord. Has original period correct Amperex rectifier tube. All power and preamp tubes have been freshened up with new JJ's. Changed power cord to grounded AC. ALL original parts come with the amp in a bag.
Includes original footswitch and Oxford speakers. Owner took out original speakers years ago and safely tucked them away. Speakers in the amp now are 70's era CTS speakers that sound great in this amp!
Other than that, the amp is completely original including footswitch. Original Oxford speakers date 43nd week of 1961.

All the transformers are correct.

-Shumacher choke dates; 48th week of '60

The 1961 Fender Super Amp is a highly regarded vintage guitar amplifier, known for its warm tone, rich breakup, and touch-sensitive response. It's part of Fender's classic "brownface" era (1960–1963), a transitional period between the tweed amps of the '50s and the blackface amps that followed in 1964.
The brown Fender amps have had a resurgence of late by the tone fanatics looking for that grittier Marshall quality out of a Fender amp. This is a beauty right here... cosmetically in fantastic condition with no rips in tolex or tears in the Oxblood grill cloth.
