With Pre-CBS Fender's tipping in for high dollar these days... you can have the same guitar for less than 1/2 the price! It was somewhat common to see an older Fender with a stripped finish, especially in the 70's, long before pre-CBS Fenders became high dollar collector pieces. Common practice in the 70's was to strip the original finish and give it the 'hippie stain' look. This is an original 1963 Musicmaster, minus original white finish with it's with original brown case.
