In this current era of amp modeling and profiling, there’s still a special place for the real deal. It doesn’t get much more real than a 100-watt Marshall from ’73—the big dog.

This one came to us in player-grade condition, with a number of modifications that naturally affect its value. We’ve gone through it carefully and brought it back to a much better place. Obeid completely serviced the amp, removing the various unnecessary mods, inferior replacement parts, and questionable workmanship that had accumulated over the years. It now has clean, professional rewiring throughout.

The original Mustard caps are long gone, but they’ve been replaced with excellent-quality Mojo Dijon caps. The filter caps are Daly units from ’75. The output transformer is a newer Marshall replacement made by Dagnall, and the power transformer is a new Weber 2139 100-watt unit.

It has a new faceplate, but the original faceplate is included.

All of the pots, jacks, and switches are original. There are some leftover chassis holes from previous master-volume modifications and other work, but those mods have now been completely undone.

Loud, strong, and ready to do what a ’73 100-watt Marshall does best. It’s a serious player’s amp that can be had at a player-grade price.
