Super Vibey 1991 Gibson Les Paul 40th Anniversary model — a really cool and somewhat under-the-radar era of Les Pauls. This is a well-loved but still classy vintage piece: Black finish with that honest patina — 34 years of natural wear gives it the perfect vibe without looking abused. Yellowed binding adds that touch of vintage authenticity — it’s what you want to see on a guitar from the early ‘90s that’s aged naturally. Original P-100 pickups — those were Gibson’s stacked hum-cancelling versions of the P-90s, giving a bit more output and less hum. They’ve got a distinct tone that works great with the right amp. Changed knobs and pickup covers — totally common for this era, and easily reversible if someone wanted to restore the original aesthetic. No pickguard — makes that black top look sleek and open, letting the finish and carve shine. Black overspray on the back of the headstock — always worth noting. It doesn’t necessarily mean a break or repair, but it can be a sign of touch-up work. There’s no visible seam, crack, or distortion in the wood grain, it could just be cosmetic.
