🎸 Model Overview
This is a Custom Shop recreation of the 1964 version of the Fender Jazz Bass. Key features include:
Body: Typically 2-piece alder body (some ash depending on specific run) in a “Heavy Relic” finish (which means the finish is artificially aged to look like a well-worn vintage instrument). reverb.com+4Musikhaus Thomann+4Vintage and Rare+4
Neck: Quartersawn maple neck with a ’60s Jazz Bass “U” back-shape.
Fingerboard: Rosewood (often “round-lam” type) with a 7.25″ (184 mm) or in some cases up to 9.5″ fingerboard radius depending on spec.

Pickups: Custom Shop hand-wound vintage style Jazz Bass single-coil pickups. reverb.com+1
